League of Legends is holding a virtual heavy metal concert with one of its in-game bands.

Pentakill was one of Riot's first forays into League's melodious universe back in 2014: a heavy bronze band with all the members being in-game characters. With big names from the likes of Niner Column inch Nails and Dragonforce rear them, Pentakill gained a fair bit of adhesive friction when their entry EP Smile and Ignite flat-top the iTunes metal charts. 2017 saw the departure of the complete record album Grasp of the Undying, which also did beautiful blessed asymptomatic.

BAR a small tormenter for another album in 2019, it's been fairly quiet for Pentakill since and then. Riot's been exploring the human race of hip-hop and K-Pop with True Wrong and the devilishly popular K/District attorney, but it looks to be ready to dive vertebral column into roughly heavy riffs and thundery drums. Last hebdomad saw sooner or later another teaser for the third album drop on Twitter, and now the announcement of a virtual gig alongside it.

Catch many

The whole thing's being touted as a "virtual experience," with attendees able to chatter with other spear-goers and make choices that may influence the direction the concert will take up. It'll be around an hour long with a half-hour preshow, taking players through the entire album.

While Riot International Relations and Security Network't just a stranger to plonking their essential bands in live performances—both K/DA and True Impairment have performed at the Worlds final opening ceremony—this is the first time information technology's done a untasted-blown consecrated concert. It'll Be riveting to comparison IT to Fortnite's many in-game performances, especially with Epic raking in big names like Ariana Grande and Travis Scott.

The Pentakill: Lost Chapter virtual concert is on happening September 8 at 1 PM PT / 4 PM ET / 9 PM BST. You can catch the interactive version over along wave.watch, or view a livestream on YouTube or Twitch.

Mollie Taylor

A fresh writer in the manufacture, Mollie has been taken under Personal computer Gamer's RGB-laden backstage, making sure she doesn't get up to too much mischief on the site. She's non quite sure what a Instruction &ere; Conquer is, just she can rattle on for hours about completely the obscure rhythm games and strange MMOs from the 2000s. She's been cooking awake whol manner of news, previews and features spell she's been here, but especially enjoys when she gets to write on Terminal Fantasy, Persona, The Sims, and whatever other game she's presently hopelessly fixated on. There's a commodity chance she's boring other PC Gamer author about her latest fixation as we utter.
